How to Use Your Mahi Herbal Care
Get the best results from your Hair Oil, Shampoo and Mehandi — exactly how to apply each one, how often, and the little tips that make a big difference.

How to Use Mahi Herbal Hair Oil
Our slow-cooked Ayurvedic oil works best when massaged into the scalp and left to nourish the roots. Used regularly, it controls hair fall, fights dandruff and supports new growth.
Use 2 times a week- 1
Section your hair so your scalp is easy to reach.
- 2
Pour a few drops of Mahi Hair Oil onto your fingertips — enough to cover your scalp and the length of your hair.
- 3
Gently massage into the scalp in small circular motions for 5–10 minutes to boost blood circulation to the roots.
- 4
Work the remaining oil down the length of your hair, paying extra attention to the dry ends.
- 5
Leave it on overnight for deep nourishment — or at least 1–2 hours before washing.
- 6
Wash off with lukewarm water and the Mahi Herbal Shampoo.
Tip: Warm the oil slightly before applying for better absorption. Avoid very hot water when washing — it strips away natural oils.

How to Use Mahi Herbal Shampoo
A gentle, sulphate-free cleanse that removes dirt and excess oil without drying your hair or stripping its natural moisture.
Use 2–3 times a week- 1
Wet your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- 2
Take a coin-sized amount of Mahi Herbal Shampoo in your palm.
- 3
Massage gently into the scalp and work the lather through the lengths.
- 4
Rinse well with water; repeat only if your hair is very oily.
- 5
On oiling days, use it to wash off the Mahi Hair Oil for soft, frizz-free hair.
Tip: A little goes a long way — over-washing can dry the scalp. Always rinse until the water runs clear.

How to Use Mahi Mehandi Powder
100% natural henna that conditions, strengthens and gives a rich natural colour — with no chemicals and no harsh additives.
Use once a month- 1
Mix the mehandi powder with warm water (or tea/coffee for a deeper tone) into a smooth, lump-free paste.
- 2
Cover and let the paste rest for 2–4 hours so the natural colour releases.
- 3
Apply evenly from roots to tips on clean, dry hair using gloves and a brush.
- 4
Leave it on for 1–2 hours — longer for a deeper, richer colour.
- 5
Rinse off with plain water only — avoid shampoo for the first 24 hours so the colour sets well.
Tip: Do a small patch test first. Apply a little oil along your hairline to keep the skin from staining.
The Complete Weekly Routine
For best results, combine all three: oil your scalp twice a week and leave it overnight, cleanse with the herbal shampoo, and once a month condition and colour with mehandi. Consistency over 8 weeks is the real secret to healthy, strong hair.
Mahi products are pure herbal cosmetics. Results vary from person to person and depend on consistency, diet and sleep. Do a patch test if you have sensitive skin.
